When you are working on a project, how do you know how much time you spend on it? Well, if you don't know the exact number of hours you spend on particular tasks, now with MappleXp Express you can track the invested hours in order to organize your time in a better way.
The first time you run the program, you will need to create a new database. In this file you can save all your work items and tasks, and easily link them to one specific project. After this, you will be able to create as many tasks as you want. One nice feature is that all the tasks can be organized in a hierarchical way, which means that any task can have a number of subtasks.
Once you have set up all the tasks of your project, you will be able to track the time spent on each one by using the Task Controller window. In this window you need to select one task from the list, write an optional description about it, press the start button; and after that, the application will start tracking the duration of the task. Once you finish the task, you can press the stop button, and you will know the time spent in detail, for example: the time you started and finished a task, the hours, minutes, and seconds you invested in a task.
Finally, you can export all the data to a CSV or TXT file.
